Background
The Afghan Youth Education and Health Organization (AYEHO) is an independent, non-profit NGO established in 2018 and registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan. Headquartered in Kabul, AYEHO operates across all 34 provinces, focusing on marginalized youth and children, including street workers, orphans, and those with disabilities. The organization aims to empower vulnerable communities by promoting child and women's rights, enhancing access to health services and quality education, and implementing sustainable development projects.
With strong ties to local communities, AYEHO adopts a grassroots approach to address unique challenges effectively. Recognized for its technical assistance in health, education, and governance, AYEHO also responds to humanitarian crises by implementing emergency projects for internally displaced persons and refugees. Through its comprehensive efforts, AYEHO is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Afghanistan's most vulnerable populations and fostering lasting change.
